Coming soon to a track near you Credit: photo by Lee Nichols

Cap Metro wants you to see the train you paid for, so they’ll be showing it off next month at five of the stations. Actual service is scheduled to begin in March. See their press release below. In the meantime, you can get a preview with this photo gallery we took during a media preview last year.

Come see the Capital MetroRail Train Display Open House at Leander Station February 7, 10am-2pm. 800 Highway 183 North (across from HEB Plus)

Come see the train, pick up a schedule, learn to use the new ticket vending machines and get all of your questions answered about riding the train.

This open house is free, a come-and-go event and open to the public.

Sign Language interpreters for the Deaf will be available, and other reasonable accommodations can be requested at least three days in advance by contacting Nancy Crowther at 389-7583.
