The Northridge Acres subdivision straddles the Travis and Williamson county lines, and lies in the forgotten gray area just outside the city limits of Austin and Round Rock. The community’s 300-plus residents live without basic city services, such as water and sewer. These substandard conditions exist within blocks or a few miles of some of its wealthier commercial neighbors, such as the 328-acre La Frontera development, the Corridor Industrial Park, and Dell Computer.
