Rob Jesmer, the campaign manager for Texas U.S. Senator John Cornyn and former manager of the John McCain campaign, apparently thinks that Republican Congressman Scott Garrett of New Jersey is “a nut.”

We know this because he blabbed it to Holly Shulman at a Cornyn rally in Houston this weekend. Shulman happens to be the spokeswoman for Cornyn’s Democratic challenger, Rick Noriega – and the daughter of Garrett’s Democratic challenger, Dennis Shulman. Perhaps not the best idea – especially since Holly Shulman was recording the rally and got his comments on tape.
