It’s time for the summer’s hottest event, Kitty Palooza at the Town Lake Animal Center.

This weekend, June 25 and 26, the TLAC will open early – doors at 10am – for the shelter’s annual cat adoption extravaganza. The shelter is currently home to more than 400 cats that are ready to find their forever families. And for those families ready to take in a furry, purry bundle of love, adoption fees will be reduced to just $5.

And in case you’re more a dog person, the shelter will also be reducing the adoption fee to $5 for all dogs over one year.
