PIONEER FARM’S SUMMER DAY CAMP caters to children from the ages of 4 to
15, who spend either all or part of five days at the Farm, experiencing work
and play as it might have been during the 1880’s. Dressed in period clothing,
the children care for the animals, prepare meals, and work on appropriate
crafts. Sessions begin June 2 and run through August 8. Registration began
March 3, but note that this year’s registration will be handled differently
than in years past. PF will begin accepting reservations BY MAIL, through March
14. Walk-in registration will begin March 17. These camps are widely popular,
and sell out quickly, so the earlier you register, the better. For specifics,
call the farm at 837-1215.
