From the Dept. of I Can’t Believe We Have to Have a Law That Tells Us to Do the Right Thing, comes Ft. Worth Dem Rep. Marc Veasey‘s HB 2189, which would mandate that the Court of Criminal Appeals, including the clerk’s office, remain open on execution days until after the execution has occurred.
