Faith (and parking) based

While we all know disrespecting your Muslim brothers and Bush Republican sycophancy go hand in hand, the holier-than-thous over at Hyde Park Baptist Church have taken the connection to cartoonish extremes. What better way to follow up on their controversial Interreligious Ministries cancellation than with a visit to the White House! From the press release:

On Thursday, December 20 and Friday, December 21, the halls of the White House in Washington, DC will ring out with holiday carols sung by Hyde Park Baptist Church’s Exaltation Choir. The choir was recently contacted by White House personnel to perform 2 concerts during the 2007 holiday celebration.

Good tidings and xenophobia and parking garages for all this holiday season!
