Early voting is done, and Travis County finished well above the numbers it produced in the previous gubernatorial election four years ago. A whopping 21,256 ballots were cast today, either in person or via mail, bringing the final tally to 133,915, or 22.2% of registered voters. The 2006 total was 98,863 (17.8%). Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
