Take me home and love me.

There’s no time like this Saturday to find yourself a new feline friend – and Austin Pets Alive! wants to help you make that happen.

It’s been a couple weeks since the Austin Humane Society hosted its successful furr-tastic adoption event, but there are still plenty of kittens out there in need of loving families. Indeed, APA! reports that this year alone they’ve rescued more than 1,000 cats that were facing certain death (510 of them unweaned “bottle babies”) – and now those kitties are looking for homes.

APA will host a Back to School Buddies adoption event at Lakeline Mall, from noon to 6pm, with discounted adoption fees starting at $75. Also on site for the event will be cat behaviorist Mark Mac who will be available to answer all of your feline behavior questions.

Look here for more info on Saturday’s event.
