There’s plenty at stake. $892 million to be exact, and all 124 schools that make up the Austin Independent School District. On May 11, other voters will weigh in on the four bond initiatives covering everything from fine arts to athletics. But you, smart voter, are a little more savvy. They even gave you a sticker to prove it.

This year, you are taking advantage of early voting. Instead of hanging out with the hoi polloi, eating peanuts from the bottom of your bag to ward off starvation, you’ll be eating queso on a patio. Go ahead and double dip. You deserve it.
