Don’t miss the Downtown Austin Plan Density Bonus and Affordable Housing Public Town Hall Meeting – it’s tonight. Due to late notice by city staff, turnout may not be that great, so come and make your voice heard. Another chance to hear the recommendations coming forward is at a joint commission meeting tomorrow night.

The Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity to hear about, and offer feedback on, the ROMA team’s recommendations. Final recommendations incorporating community input will be presented to City Council this summer.

Town Hall Meeting When: Monday, May 18th, 6:00-8:30pm
Where: Waller Creek Bldg., 625 East 10th Street, Room 104. Parking is available on street or in the building’s parking garage, which is accessible from both 9th and 10th Streets.

Joint Commissions Meeting (Planning, Downtown, Design, Music, and Community Development Commissions)
When: Tuesday, May 19th, 6:00-8:30pm
Where: Town Lake Center, 721 Barton Springs Road, Room 130. Parking is available in the Town Lake Center parking garage across Barton Springs Road.
What: The consultants will present their recommendations and receive feedback from the commissions.
