This from the APD’s Public Information Office:
Please advise that motorist should expect delays due to train derailment incident on East 6th Street between Perdernales and Robert Martinez. Roadway closed for undermined length of time.
There’s also reports of a fuel leak on the train, but no imminent health danger. Let’s just hope this doesn’t interrupt the important rhythms of the Eastside life – namely, condo construction and tonight’s DJ set at The Peacock. Remember, You Belong East – if you can get here, that is, past the derailed train….
