Had too much to drink Downtown? Think yellow – as in yellow button, Yellow Cab (or any cab, for that matter). As part of City Council’s recent change to paid parking hours Downtown – now from 8am to 6pm Monday through Wednesday, 8am to midnight Thursday and Friday, and 11am to midnight on Saturday – the city has provided a new payment option for club-goers parked in a city spot who would do better not to drive home. Downtown parking kiosks now include a yellow “next day purchase” button, which allows drivers to buy time into the next morning. The change prevents overimbibers from being ticketed for an overnight stay – but it won’t do anything about the hangover.
