Over the next two months, the city’s Boards and Commissions meetings – some 30 in all – will include departmental budget presentations that will help the city prepare an overall budget for the fiscal year 2012. These public discussions, along with scheduled hearings, provide opportunities for community input before budget season really heats up. To the right are this week’s scheduled meetings; for more, see www.cityofaustin.org/finance.
