We asked psychologist Ricardo Anisle, documentary photographer Alan Pogue, defense attorneys Raoul Schonemann, Rob Owen, and Margaret Rountree, and Bell County District Attorney E.A. Eads for their reaction to Bill Crawford’s Texas Death Row. What follows is their response to the “official record” of 220 men and two women executed by the state of Texas between December 7, 1982, and and June 22, 2000. A related art exhibit titled “Texas Death Row” will open at Pro-Jex Gallery (1705 Guadalupe) is open until October 31. Included in our “roundtable” are photographs Alan Pogue took on Texas’ death row.
