(Note: this post has been revised with updated numbers)

On the final day of early voting in Travis County, 38,330 people cast ballots – bringing our final total to 300,218 over the past 12 days. That’s 49.28% of our 609,224 registered voters. The total, both in raw numbers and percentage, easily shattered the previous record – the 222,085 from the 2004 general election.

Now, for the 309,006 who haven’t voted yet: Find your neighborhood precinct polling place and go vote on Tuesday (Nov. 4)! Polls will be open 7am-7pm.
