Speaking of Meria Carstarphen, just got a parental robocall from her, to say AISD schools are remaining open today – but you can pick up kids early if you like. All AISD after-school activities and athletics are canceled; after-school care is not. Calls from my own kids confirm most students are outside playing in the snow, or staring out the window!
