While the noted director was off changing clothes for his Chronicle cover shoot, we took the opportunity to have a few words with his constant companion, his bandanna.

Austin Chronicle: How did you get to be so close to Robert?

Robert Rodriguez’s Bandanna:

AC: [laughs] That’s funny! When did you first realize you were an important part of his image?

RRB:

AC: Is there more than one of you, or are you it?

RRB:

AC: [chuckles] Good answer! Let’s go for some insider poop. During the filming of From Dusk Till Dawn, what was it like being that close to a naked Salma Hayek?

RRB:

AC: Wooo! I should say so! Another insider question: What’s Quentin Tarantino really like?

RRB:

AC: Ha ha ha ha! Yes, of course we’ll keep that to ourselves. Any other tidbits from behind the scenes?

RRB:

AC: Did she really!? Amazing! How was working with Sylvester Stallone?

RRB:

AC: Is it true other musicians unplug Robert when he “plays” onstage?

RRB:

AC: Oh my! I had no idea! Well, thank you so much for your time and thoughts, you’ve been a wonderful interview.
