Walter Daniels & the Giblets

(Ghost Highway)

Pulpy, serrated, greased-down punk-blues could be easily synonymous with Walter Daniels’ name at this point, and this 10-inch with the reckless Giblets is famously dirty and traditionally divine. The local harp cat remains one of the few souls able to throttle a song called “Frozen Dinners” like a strangely touching breakup ballad. Scarcely do you find four songs as wonderfully contaminated.
