Simple Circuit keeps churning out the singles, and it’s the perfect medium. The local quartet’s buzz saw punk shines on “Boarded Up Houses,” which overshadows “Moon Druggies” in protest and rhythm, its wasted-youthness and three-chord dread the only thing you want to hear over and over. Spaced-out electro from Austin trumpeter/man about town Bill Jeffery, Ichi Ni San Shi channels Casio beats and minimal thump into a pop miniseries. (Both) ***
