Dixie Witch

Started in Denton, and now the unofficial house band at Room 710, the Witch brings a distinctly Southern sensibility to stoner and Seventies rock on 2003’s One Bird, Two Stones (Small Stone). Heavier than weapons-grade plutonium.

Grady

Canadian swinging dicks Gordy “Grady” Johnson and Big Ben Richardson recruit local ringer Chris Layton to grind out rotgut blues with a wink and a sneer. Recently recut debut Y.U. So Shady? subs in “Three Minute Song” and “Western Cowboy.”

Honky

Longtime local standard-bearers of shit-kicking Southern attitude and righteous ZZ Top boogie; have been attacked by lesbians. First album since 2000’s House of Good Tires said to be due early next year.
