Holy Father Time! Is it really already getting close to another South by Southwest Music Festival? Well, if by close you mean near enough that the first batch of confirmed bands has been released, yes it certainly is! You can peruse the complete list at www.sxsw.com/music/festival/index.php, but here’s a few SXSW 03 teasers for now: Ryan Adams, Apples in Stereo, Avail, Camper Van Beethoven, Clem Snide, Cedell Davis, Dillinger Four, John Doe, Pete Droge, d.u.s.t., eX-Girl, Grandaddy, Neil Michael Hagerty, Idlewild, the Jayhawks, Kinski, Sondre Lerche, Willie Nelson, Iarla O’Lionaird, Pan Am, Pinback, Billy Joe Shaver, 16 Horsepower, SOMBA, the Spades, sunn0))), Tuatara, Turin Brakes, Dwight Twilley, Tony Joe White, Lucinda Williams, and Steve Wynn & the Miracle 3. All are subject to change, of course, especially at this early stage.
