Doja Cat announced early today, Friday, Aug. 29, that she’s stepping out of ACL 2025 to focus on the rollout of her latest album, Vie, due Sept. 26. The Killers will step in to headline both Sundays of the festival in the singer-rapper’s place, ACL announced.

“When I made the commitment I didn’t know exactly when Vie would be released,” the “Kiss Me More” singer wrote in a statement on her Instagram story, pointing to conflicting album campaign duties. “Thank you to the ACL team for their support and I hope to see you all again soon when the time is right.”

The Killers, who last played the Zilker Park festival in 2017, join the likes of Hozier, Sabrina Carpenter, the Strokes, and Doechii in headlining ACL 2025, which touches down Oct. 3-5 and 10-12.
