Led by former Sword drummer Trivett Wingo, Funeralizer boils hard rock down to its essence. No song breaches the two-minute mark, some even shorter at a mere seven seconds. Repeating the title “The Real Tragedy Would Have Been If Romeo and Juliet Had Lived” takes longer than the actual track. Rocking without a jot of self-indulgence, “One-Dimensional Chess” and “Kallista” cut the fat faster than a methed-up butcher. No vocals, intros, codas, or choruses – just riff after air-guitaring riff.
