Although he’s 20 years gone, Gene Clark, an original member of the Byrds, remains a songwriting titan to many. John Emery’s obviously one of them, covering 10 tunes Clark had a hand in, plus composing his own tribute in the title track. Carla Olson, who recorded the cult favorite collection So Rebellious a Lover with Clark, joins in for the ghostly “Gypsy Rider.” A heartfelt tribute with appeal to Clark fanatics. ***
