A company dancer at Ballet Austin, Jordan Moser’s debut shows off a musical side that’s difficult to pin down. Shadowy melodies offset pop attitude; Moser sings of grackles, hoot owls, solitude, and the passage of time in a dusky manner that conjures an old, weird America of the mind. Shuffling “Plenty of Time” and ukulele/clarinet swinger “Coo Coo” make Moser a newcomer to watch.
