A decade in, the Invincible Czars pair their gonzo art-rock approach with a work suited to the Austinites’ grab bag of influences and ambition: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” first unveiled by the Russian composer in 1882. A celebratory piece literally booming with cannons, it also soars more quietly, with crisp flute, electric guitar, and an array of percussion, pulling the 19th century piece into the 21st with both urgency and reverence.
