JP Pfertner chronicled his 8-bit Devo fascinations with local quartet Built by Snow, and the self-recorded Casio calamities that mark his debut in Oh Look Out play on the same Nintendo levels, only as lo-fi variations. Lullaby-ish “Short Waves” shakes a cavalcade of bleeps, but as on “Analogatron,” Pfertner’s forte is still Back to the Future Part III.
