The Austin Chronicle is an independent, locally owned and operated alternative newsweekly that reflects the heart and soul of Austin, Texas.
A charter member of L.A.’s Wrecking Crew, guitarist Jerry Cole played some of his last gigs in Texas before his 2008 death. His musical legacy has since been managed by local 3 Balls of Fire fretmaster Mike Vernon, who produced this sweetly nostalgic and well-tended collection of Cole’s guitar instrumentals from the 1960s go-go era.
