Blackholicus
Megaforte The image on the back of this metal quartet’s latest – four snarling wolves emerging from a screaming face – should have been the cover. Blackholicus excels in late 1970s metal, but frontwoman/bassist Margaret Myrick’s squeal on “Werewolf” and “Roquefort” gives it a distinct Texas brand. “Victory I” and “Victory II” are no doubt the soundtrack to some epic werewolf battle.
