Boom and Chime (Rock Sweet Jenny) Without overplaying the Daylight Titans’ hand at only eight tracks, Boom and Chime broadcasts Andy Smith’s commanding vocals and the band’s 1980s-esque hard-roots drive, which conjures R.E.M. on a True Believers bender. Standouts include the early punk rattle of “Between Joy and Faith” and the wasn’t-that-an-MTV-video? sound of “Bathed in Light.”
