The Will Evans Project

Recorded live, the Will Evans Project’s debut captures the local trio’s jam dynamic, though the standard acoustic rock delivers little beyond the typical college-directed fair. “It’s a Shame” and “Oh Tomorrow” might, at best, recall Dave Matthews’ acoustic work, while Evans’ emotive vocals on “Love Lock” and 11-minute closer “Out of Your Mind” feel more affected than earned.
