Shortly after TCB became infatuated with XM Radio, he realized its 66 music channels feature an abundance of local and regional artists, and invented a fun little game: jump only from one Texas act to another, except when U2 came on. Not counting Texans heard before and since – Trail of Dead, Bill Hicks, Single Frame, Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Sexton, Pinetop Perkins, and the Yuppie Pricks, whose Brokers’ Banquet cracked punk channel Fungus 53‘s Top 20 albums of 2005 – here’s the native log (with corresponding channel) from 2:30-4am last Friday:
