Services for local philanthropist Robin Shivers, 53, are taking place on Thursday, Nov. 5, at St. Mary’s Cathedral (203 East 10th Street), 2pm. The co-founder of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians died unexpectedly last Monday of undetermined causes.
“All of us at HAAM are just heartbroken,” said HAAM Executive Director Carolyn Schwarz. “What it makes me personally feel is that now I have to work twice as hard as I don’t have my mentor anymore. I want to continue to make Robin’s dream move forward, knowing that she’s watching.”
