Hymns of Christmas (Leon Russell) So you say you don’t have enough albums of pompous, keyboard-driven instrumental Christmas chestnuts? Step right up, then, this is just the thing for you. This stuff would be passable if Russell was contributing his unmistakable vocals on it; as is, it sounds more like an album of Rick Wakeman or Keith Emerson Christmas songs, in all their bombastic glory.
