Tvlormvde & East Fourth Mafia

Saturday 24, Cheer Up Charlies

Over the years, Austin-based musician Tvlormvde has dipped into several genres: Auto-Tuned rap akin to fellow Houston native Travis Scott, alt-R&B (Smile for My Friends & Cry Later series), alternative, and a more recent pivot toward breezy indie-pop. Last week, he released the second single from his forthcoming album, Where Do We Go From Here?

Turn Up the Vote

Sunday 25, Sagebrush

The importance of this year’s midterm elections can’t be overstated. This event benefiting the Travis County Democratic Party will feature U.S. Rep. Lloyd Doggett, state Rep. Vikki Goodwin, and more speakers. In standard Austin fashion, expect live music courtesy of country singer-songwriter Kelly Willis and others.

OC Chris

Thursday 29, Come & Take It Live

Somewhat adjacent to the New Dallas movement that gained traction last year, Oak Cliff rapper OC Chris parlayed his own buzz into a record deal with Artist Partner Group. The 19-year-old’s love for mixing melodic croons and forceful raps over bouncy production draws a similar comparison to early YoungBoy Never Broke Again. There’s a connection between the two: Chris performed a cameo at the Dallas stop on YoungBoy’s 2025 tour.
