Saturday 15, Flamingo Cantina

Sirius XM radio station Shade 45 airs the Punchline Academy, a program centered around showcasing bars-centric rap. The radio show’s Lyric League Series, a live freestyle cypher, visits cities across the country to spotlight gems from each scene. Participants at the Austin edition include conscious lyricist Blayce the Rapper, veteran rhymer Clova, and Southside rapper Sertified. CHHK & the Dropouts headline after some of its members partake in the cypher. Da Inphamus Amadeuz hosts.

Arizona-born singer-songwriter Kohanna has called Austin home for about a year, but she doesn’t forget where she’s been along the way. This free show celebrates the folk artist’s soon-to-be-released single “Colorado,” which follows a full-length also named after the Centennial State.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Carlos Santana is still going strong. His group’s May 2026 single, “Mi Gran Amor,” enlists Latin pop singer Becky G to help touch on the devastating impact ICE raids have on families. Fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famers the Doobie Brothers open.
