Alexi 8bit

Saturday 1, the ABGB

Austin indie-pop artist Alexi 8bit is set to release her new single, “Bloom,” this Friday. The breakup-themed track is the UT alum’s first release since her October 2024 EP, Creature of Loneliness. Previous collaborator TV Wonder (“O! My Kitchen”) and Marcus Bell join the single’s free release party on Saturday.

Isabel LaRosa

Monday 3, Moody Center

Though lovesickness – “Hallucination” likens a past lover to a lingering ghost – still forms the foundation of Promising Young Woman, Isabel LaRosa (“i’m yours”) shows she’s capable of more than breathy, hushed vocals on her new seven-track EP. “Every Life” implements a vocoder and “Porcelain” tackles the internal pressure caused by trying to keep up with unrealistic beauty standards. The 21-year-old alt-pop singer-songwriter previously released her debut full-length, Raven, last year.

Meet Me @ the Altar

Tuesday 4, Antone’s

Now a duo releasing music independently, Meet Me @ the Altar (drummer Ada Juarez and vocalist Edith Victoria) tours in support of their latest EP, WORRIED SICK, which features a heavier sound than their Fueled by Ramen-released full-length debut, 2023’s Past // Present // Future. Indiana trio Leisure Hour and alt-pop locals Glass Mansions round out the bill.
