Detroit rapper Black Milk headlines the latest edition of Exploded Drawing. He comes to Austin before embarking on a tour for his new studio album, CEREMONIAL. Other performers include masked MC Vermin the Villain and Fort Worth producer louiewithapen.

Friday 10, Meanwhile Brewing

Weldon Henson, the Jerrells, and Stunt Driver perform at Meanwhile Brewing’s fifth annual  fundraiser for the Austin Firefighters Relief and Outreach Fund. Two-step dance lessons from Double or Nothing kick-start the night. Specials on tap include a release for a pineapple pale named “Too Easy.” Ten dollars gets you in, with all proceeds from the cover charge going toward the AFROF.

Peelander-Z Benefit 

Sunday 12, Kick Butt Coffee

While traveling to Albuquerque in May for the second stop of their planned tour, Austin-based punk band Peelander-Z suffered injuries after an 18-wheeler rammed into their tour van. This benefit show for the group features performances from longtime Austin punkers the Butts, dirt metal trio Thy Kingdom Scum, Moon Medallion, and more acts. A GoFundMe for the band was created in May and has currently amassed over $210K of its $250K goal.
