Local rapper/producer dual threat Locuust arrived emphatically in 2024 with her impassioned debut album, Apparent Incoherence. April single “Late on HRT Again” acted as a preview for her new EP, out the same day as this release party.

Juvenile & the 400 Degreez Band

Sunday 17, the Far Out Lounge

On his first solo album since 2014, Boiling Point, New Orleans rhymer Juvenile (“Back That Azz Up”) embraces his veteran status. The 51-year-old former Cash Money Records signee’s flow is still well-seasoned on the project, with one-liners further embodying his mindset. He’s “stackin’ more green than La Madeleine salads” (“Juvie Beverly”) before getting more direct on Billboard-charter “B.B.B.”: “You gon’ find out fuckin’ with an old nigga.” Arrive early to catch some of Austin rap’s top acts: Ben Buck, Blakchyl, Blackillac, and Geto Gala support.
