Uncle Roy & Spice

Saturday 21, Radio/East

Though Washington, D.C.-bred duo Uncle Roy & Spice serve as backing vocalists for Sir Woman, the lively pair have branched out in the past year with multiple headline shows of their own. Fresh off completing a Wednesdays residency at C-Boy’s Heart & Soul last month, the duo hits Radio/East with new vocal ensemble the Chor.Us as support. The new choir is already displaying potential for tomfoolery: A couple of highly viewed Instagram posts show the ensemble practicing a mash-up of Khia’s “My Neck, My Back (Lick It)” and Kelis’ “Milkshake.”
