Green Day

Bullet in a Bible (Reprise)

Green Day proved their festival rock mettle at Woodstock ’94, but it took American Idiot to move them “beyond the shadow of Dookie,” as bassist Mike Dirnt puts it. This DVD/CD documents the trio’s June 2005 concerts at Milton Keynes, England, in front of 65,000 fans passionately singing along to “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Guitarist/vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong is in full ham revival mode, leading the crowd in a “Shout” and screaming “Awright, England!” more times than you can count, but it only makes you wish you could watch it again through the eyes of a 15-year-old.
