“This place feels like home,” Daytrotter.com founder Sean Moeller told OTR back in March, surveying the recently remodeled Big Orange studio on Austin’s Eastside. “It’s a bit rough around all the right edges.”

For the third consecutive year, the esteemed website, which records exclusive studio sessions of indie artists, holed up in the middle of South By Southwest for a marathon recording session. OTR sat in for the Strange Boys’ taping, and the local quartet bashed out a few cuts from their excellent In the Red Records debut, And Girls Club, and touched up a few new songs. The session has finally made its way online. Check it out here and download “Untitled 2” below.

Daytrotter also recently uploaded some pretty remarkable recordings from local songwriter Leatherbag and soul revivalist T Bird & the Breaks.
