Austin Blues Festival returns to Moody Amphitheater April 26-27 with a lineup featuring Chicago singer/activist Mavis Staples, precocious Mississippi guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and more.

Presented by Antone’s Nightclub, the two-day event continues its blues-and-beyond approach to booking with performances by contemporary soul singer Jalen Ngonda, blues rockers North Mississippi Allstars, Bogotá-based ensemble Monsieur Periné, zydeco artist Keith Frank, Australian teenage guitarist Taj Farrant, Latin jazz group Orquesta Akokán, Louisiana-based TBC Brass Band (performing with Chawa), and Memphis gospel singer Elizabeth King. Jackie Venson, Sue Foley, Sir Woman, and Grandmaster represent the local contingent.

In addition to these performances, both days of the festival will feature “all-star jams,” with as-yet-unannounced artists, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Antone’s Nightclub (which Clifford Antone originally opened in July 1975).

One-day and two-day tickets to the 2025 Austin Blues Festival go on sale today at 12pm. General admission one-day tickets start at $75; two-day passes start at $120.
