As you cross South by Southwest off your festival calendar, add three more events: Rancho Alegre Conjunto Music Festival, the CMT Music Awards, and Float Fest have all revealed their 2024 lineups.

Following a 2023 split between three venues, Tejano music celebration Rancho Alegre returns April 5-7 at a new location, East Austin’s Doris Miller Auditorium. Free and open to all ages, doors open at 5pm Friday, where CruzSante, Conjunto Los Pinkys, Los Texas Wranglers, and headliners Los Enmascarados perform, while Saturday and Sunday present all-day affairs.

On Saturday, Rene Joslin y Los Favoritos top a bill that also includes Julian Olivarez y Jazz Tuvo, Eddie “Lalo” Torres, Linda Escobar, Ruben Rivera y Loz Noblez, Riley y Los Gilitos, Chano Cadena y Su Conjunto, and Edgar Vasquez y Sus Muchachos. Los D-Boyz and Sunny Ozuna headline Sunday, while Joe Mercado y Los Texas Cuatro Exitos, Kamila y Bella Divas, Conjunto Puro Corazon, Gilberto Perez Jr y Sus Compaders, Los Cucuys de Rodney Rodriguez, Conjunto Impulso de Ernesto Cadena, and Los Arcos Hermanos Peña also perform.

April 7 also marks the CMT Music Awards’ second year at the Moody Center. Though not a festival, the televised country show still presents an arena-worthy musical convergence featuring live performances from rising stars Bailey Zimmerman, Lainey Wilson, and Sam Hunt, plus tattooed breakout act Jelly Roll and aughts FM radio favorite Keith Urban, with more to be announced. The ceremony airs live on CBS and streams on Paramount+, while remaining tickets, available on Ticketmaster, go for about $229.

Summertime staple Float Fest arrives September 7 with notable changes. Following past editions located along the San Marcos River – Lil Wayne, The Kid Laroi, Jessie Murph, Anella Herim, Preston Wayne, and DJ Blackbeard are set to perform this year at Austin’s Germania Insurance Amphitheater. In other words, no floating at Float Fest, but organizers are offering an optional $20 add-on for discounted floating passes at San Marcos company Texas State Tubes, redeemable between September 5-15. For the Circuit of the Americas event, GA tickets start at $49, and pit tickets start at $249. Passes go on sale at 10am Thursday, via Ticketmaster.
