ST 37 is among the acts in the final lineup for Roky Erickson‘s birthday benefit Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Mercury. The rest: Knife in the Water, LeeAnn Cameron, Coffee Sergeants, Primordial Undermind, 13th Floor Elevators contemporaries the Golden Dawn, Shawn Sahm & Dave Derrick, Jad Fair & Adult Rodeo, Winslow, and Spoon. Pong was also tentatively scheduled to play, but has bowed out due to scheduling conflicts. Erickson himself will be there eating cake at 8pm, though no one can predict whether he’ll pick up an instrument and join in the onstage fun…
