Keith Urban was among the first names South by Southwest unveiled for the 2018 conference, way back in May, as a star speaker for their Music Culture & Stories track. Today, it’s been announced that the Australian pop country star will play Stubb’s on Friday, March 16.

Earlier that day, at 12:30pm, the 50-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist is scheduled to speak at the Convention Center. He hits Stubb’s at 11pm. Urban’s two-decade-plus career has spawned 20 No. 1 hits.

2016’s Ripchord achieved platinum status. His 10th studio LP, Graffiti U, arrives this year. Like Garth Brooksfree SXSW concert last year, the appearance in Austin by Urban promotes a world tour, which kicks off June 15 in St. Louis.

As an official SXSW event, the Stubb’s blitz requires a badge or wristband.
