It takes a certain soulfulness to fully appreciate the holiday season, thus it goes without saying that Al Green possesses just the voice to enhance “special times with family sharing love so openly.” Compiling nine yuletide classics originally released by Green in 1983, Feels Like Christmas would completely lack the magic touch of producer Willie Mitchell if not for the inclusion of the 1976 original “Glory Glory.”
