Crew54

They’ve been keeping tabs on the hip-hop scene for more than 18 months now, so isn’t it time Crew54 got intimate?

Killeen’s most soulful rappers/videographers brought a new element to their 54 Reality Show last week when they introduced Reality Bytes, a weekly offshoot that will spotlight artists on a more personal level.

“Of course we’ll still be doing the blog,” stresses M.O.S., “but this allows viewers to get a more personal look at some of the best artists this area has to offer. It’s just another way to showcase the talent.”

The first installment’s a double whammy. In episode one, Easy Lee and Tre of San Antonio’s Mojoe riff on the rotisserie process of recording, their first memories of Austin, and plans for a live album in 2010. Austin grime stylist Dubb Sicks follows suit in episode two, spitting wisdom on the morning after pill and letting people know what they should expect on the follow- up to last year’s filthy Mind in the Gutter.
