Local Iraq veteran and rhymesayer Lorenzo Zarate, aka Loudmouf, is getting another shot at prime time as part of A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE (Bill of Rights for American Veterans). The star-studded event is being filmed tomorrow at the Nokia Center in NYC and hopes to raise awareness for various veteran’s causes.
“I’m still trying to get some compensation for my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; it has gotten worse recently, and I’m actually hallucinating now,” says Zarate, who’ll perform his single “Back on My Grizzy” and introduce his one-time mentor Kanye West.
